Position: Member of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE).
Period: Since his appointment to the Authority, he has held a vital position in the electoral process in Tunisia after July 25, 2021.
Tasks: Participated in supervising the organization of elections, including the referendum on the new constitution in 2022. He played a role in rejecting the candidacies of some prominent figures, which raised accusations against him of politicizing the nomination process in favor of President Saied.
Relations: Established close relations with political leaders linked to President Kais Saied, which facilitated the manipulation of the electoral process.

- Rejection of political candidates: He was involved in the exclusion of a number of prominent presidential candidates, which raised controversy about the transparency and integrity of the electoral process.
- Support for the existing regime: He promoted the ruling authorities’ narrative and paved the way for decisions that confiscated the opposition’s right to participate freely.
